The Cancer & Natural Therapy Foundation is a registered charity organization based in Sunbury, Victoria, run by a team of committed and dedicated volunteers. It was established as a non-profit organization in 1993, shortly after Sandra Maqueda’s 4 year old son’s remarkable recovery from cancer using natural therapies.. Light of Hope Foundation was the vision of Marina Rosinsky, who had a major life challenging experience many years ago and dreamed of a "better way" fro health care. Her dream for this Foundation grew out of the realisation that many patients with serious and life-challenging illnesses need to have more information about treatment alternatives. Marina also realised that not all patients can afford complementary medicine approaches. The Light of Hope Foundation was established to give people the opportunity to benefit from these treatments by covering their costs. The Light of Hope Foundation was officially approved as a Deductible Gift Recipient and Tax Concession Charity on the 22nd of February 2006. The aims of the Light of Hope organisation PROMOTE FEELINGS OF HOPE, CONNECTION TO THE SPIRIT OF LIFE AND A BELIEF IN THE NATURAL HEALING POTENTIAL OF OUR OWN BODY. EDUCATION IN WHOLISTIC, COMPLEMENTARY AND ORTHODOX MEDICINE TO HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY AT LARGE.
